Your missions
- Ensure the strategic management of the budgets of the IT Directorate (DIT) of the university
- Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
- Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
- Manage the administrative life cycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
- Define software asset management processes to ensure control
- Identify synergies in the software park, support standardization and implement optimization measures
- Ensure the quality of the inventory of workstations (PC, Mac & Linux), in collaboration with the Service Desk team
- Measure and continuously improve processes and procedures in the area of responsibilities
Desired profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field or equivalent training
- You have experience in financial management and procurement (public markets), ideally in an IT context
- You have experience in software asset management
- You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organization
- You can negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as with suppliers while being mindful of their constraints
- You demonstrate a strong service and results orientation. The principles of continuous improvement are second nature to you, and you are comfortable with project management principles
- You are fluent in French or German with good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you are proficient in written and spoken English.
