Your missions

• Ensure the strategic management of the budgets of the IT Directorate (DIT) of the university
• Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
• Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
• Manage the administrative life cycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
• Define software asset management processes to ensure control
• Identify synergies in the software park, support standardization and implement optimization measures
• Ensure the quality of the inventory of workstations (PC, Mac & Linux), in collaboration with the Service Desk team
• Measure and continuously improve processes and procedures in the area of responsibilities

Desired profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field or equivalent training
• You have experience in financial management and procurement (public markets), ideally in an IT context
• You have experience in software asset management
• You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organization
• You can negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as with suppliers while being mindful of their constraints
• You demonstrate a strong service and results orientation. The principles of continuous improvement are second nature to you, and you are comfortable with project management principles
• You are fluent in French or German with good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you are proficient in written and spoken English.
