Responsibilities

• Combine the areas of Accounting and Billing & Collections into an effective unit.
• Scale and optimize accounting and collections processes through digital and AI-driven tools for "touchless accounting".
• Lead and support the team and foster a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Define technical requirements for the system landscape and workflows in close collaboration with the Lead Billing Architect.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with OR and corporate guidelines, including correct VAT accounting.
• Ensure an effective internal control system and act as the central contact for audits.
• Proactively function as a sparring partner in the finance team and lead cross-departmental projects.

Requirements

• Business studies, ideally supplemented by specific training in accounting, auditing, or digital leadership.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, preferably a few years in a dynamic SaaS scale-up environment.
• Deep understanding of accounting processes, ERP landscapes, and AI agents and digital workflows.
• Structured and systematic working style combined with a pronounced hands-on mentality.
• High willingness to shape and the ability to not only plan digital projects but implement them actively.
• Clear, understandable communication, high ambition, and personal commitment.
• Assertiveness and a positive, sporty mindset to inspire others with your energy.
