What can you expect?

  • Active involvement in investment consulting projects for institutional clients (pension funds, foundations, insurers) in close collaboration with senior consultants and investment specialists.
  • Hands-on analytical work: portfolio and performance analysis, risk metrics, ALM support, and preparation of client materials.
  • Support in manager research and selection through quantitative screening, peer comparisons, and documentation of recommendations.
  • Development and automation of tools and models (Excel, VBA, Power BI) to improve analysis, reporting, and internal processes.
  • Preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards for internal and client meetings.
  • Exposure to real-world investment decision-making in a leading global consulting environment.
  • Collaboration within a multidisciplinary and international team with structured learning, feedback, and mentoring.

What are you bringing?

  • Ongoing Master's studies in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar analytical field.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills (Excel + at least one programming language, R, VBA, MATLAB, SQL).
  • Interest in capital markets, portfolio theory, and investment concepts.
  • A data-driven mindset, curiosity, and a structured way of working.
  • Ability to work independently and precisely.
  • Motivation to apply academic knowledge in practice and grow into consulting.
  • Clear communication skills; German native, very good English and French are a plus.
