Internship Finance - 12 months

Skyguide provides air navigation services in Switzerland and parts of neighbouring countries. Your mission:

In this role you will be involved within the Finance department, and you will report to the Accounting Manager under the supervision of senior accountants. You will be able to learn key accounting and Financial reporting processes and contribute to improve efficiency and quality. Your mission will be composed of a mix of periodic closing accounting activities and small projects to monitor throughout the year. To do so, you will be requested to interact and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, use analytical skills and synthesize information to report to the accounting manager.

Your tasks:

• Accounting period closing activities:
  • Provide support on General Ledger (GL) accounting; cash application, analyse automated accruals, book accounting entries in SAP.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations, investigate and remediate discrepancies.
  • Record and reconcile prepaid expenses.
  • Support preparation of periodic financial reporting package (Financial Statement and analytical schedules).
• Projects:
  • Implement analysis on P2P process in the context of implementation of new SAP functionalities.
  • Support treasury back-office.
  • Re design the monthly closing reconciliations based on the requirements from the accounting manager and drive implementation (organise trainings, monitor quality).
  • Review and maintain SOP documentation or Internal Control System documentation.
  • Other duties as required (i.e., adhoc analysis, specific projects).
