Staff Employee in Finance and Support Management (temporary)

The Integration Office is responsible for the coordination and strategic development of integration support in the canton of Zurich. We are the cantonal competence center for issues related to integration and social diversity.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an service-oriented and committed individual for a newly created position as staff employee in the management of finance and support (temporary, 70%) as soon as possible or by agreement, limited to two years with the option to extend.

Your challenge

Take on a key role in supporting the management, coordinate demanding projects, prepare well-founded decision-making bases and contribute significantly to the efficient management of administrative processes.

Your tasks

  • Support the management of Finance and Support in strategic, organizational and operational matters.
  • Prepare decision-making processes at management levels and monitor the implementation of the decisions made.
  • Create analyses and develop concepts and recommendations for the management.
  • Collaborate or lead projects, particularly in process optimization, digitization, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of standards and processes.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, public management or comparable fields, ideally supplemented by experience in finance, project management, and digitization.
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in public administration.
  • Structured, foresighted, and independent work style with the ability to grasp, prepare, and communicate complex topics effectively.
  • Resilience and the ability to maintain an overview during simultaneous and urgent tasks, and react appropriately to politically sensitive issues.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in MS Office; adept and efficient use of digital tools.
  • Interconnected thinking, taking responsibility, and enjoyment of constructive collaboration in a team.
