Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting (m/w/d)

Mövenpick Wein Schweiz AG is a leading wine retailer in the premium segment with a nationwide branch network, a subsidiary in Germany, and an online shop. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual for our headquarters in Baar.

Your Challenge

• Support and represent the Head of Finance and Accounting in managing the department from a personnel and organizational standpoint.
• Manage fixed asset accounting for both companies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the German subsidiary according to the closing checklist, as well as serve as the representative for the company.
• Monthly VAT reporting for the German subsidiary.
• Short- and long-term liquidity planning.
• Prepare audit documents.
• Support and provide technical assistance to bookkeeping staff.
• Monthly and annual statistical reporting (DE).

Your Profile

• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting.
• Training/education/experience in the accounting field.
• Openness and hands-on approach to new tasks.
• Flair for numbers.
• Good MS Office skills (Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage).
• Independent and service-oriented working style.
• Team player and resilient.
• Language skills in German and English (French is an advantage).
