Finance Business Partner C5I

Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate contribute significantly to the safety of Switzerland every day. They ensure that the army and other operational and security organizations can fully perform their tasks.

This is what you can do:

• Strategic advice to management in the area of High Secure IT/Cyber on financial, operational, and commercial questions.
• Establish and maintain a strong business partner relationship with project leaders, engineering, cyber teams, and senior management.
• Represent the Director of Finance Business Partnering, including leadership of selected finance topics and representation in management committees.
• Ensure a financially robust decision-making basis for investments, programs, and security-critical projects.
• Responsibility for segments in area controlling Defense, including forecasting, budgeting, and monthly performance reporting.
• Analyze complex project and program structures (e.g., cyber programs, high secure IT infrastructures, defense systems).
• Create cost-effectiveness calculations, scenarios, risk analyses, and KPI dashboards.
• Support the further development of finance processes, standards, and tools (interface controlling to accounting).
• Participate in internal and external audits, IKS projects, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as M&A activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, defense regulations, and audit requirements.
• Contribute to the digital transformation in the finance area, participate in the introduction of BI tools, and identify new technologies for improving efficiency and quality.

What you bring:

• Higher business education (FH/Uni) and/or a specific further education with a focus on finance/controlling.
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in controlling, ideally in business partnering or area controlling.
• Solid knowledge in finance and accounting.
• Knowledge in data analytics or automated forecasting methods as well as AI tools.
• Experience with POC evaluation methods (Percentage of Completion) or controlling in project business in technically demanding environments.
• Experience in technology or defense environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Very good analytical skills, high affinity for numbers, and a pronounced process understanding.
• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana (modules CO, FI, PS) is advantageous.
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
