Internal Audit Manager (with exciting career progression opportunities)
Are you currently working in Audit and looking for the next exciting step beyond external assurance? Would you like to gain deep insights into an international consumer goods business while travelling globally and interacting with senior stakeholders across functions and regions?
Our client is a highly successful global consumer goods company headquartered in Zurich. To strengthen the Group Internal Audit team, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious professional with a strong audit background and the drive to develop within an international environment.
This role offers excellent exposure to senior management, cross-functional projects, and long-term career progression opportunities within the wider organisation.
Your tasks
- Lead and execute risk-based operational and financial audits across international subsidiaries.
- Assess business processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain global audit methodologies, programs, policies, and tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders and senior management across functions and regions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors regarding audit findings and remediation activities.
- Prepare high-quality audit reports with practical recommendations and present findings to management.
- Monitor implementation of agreed corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic and special projects at Group level.
Your profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Swiss CPA or ACA.
- Several years of experience in External Audit within a Big4 or international audit environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships across all organisational levels while maintaining professional independence.
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented personality.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately up to 40–50%).
