Your Role

In this role, you ensure the financial steering and administrative stability of the association. As a central contact for financial questions, you work closely with the management and the team and make a significant contribution to the professional development of UZH Alumni, actively shaping financial and administrative processes.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting (Bexio)
• Preparation of the annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER, if necessary in collaboration with an external fiduciary
• Controlling, budgeting, forecasts, and liquidity management
• Creation of meaningful financial reports, statistics, and decision-making bases
• Further development of processes in finance, accounting, and administration
• Additional tasks depending on suitability and workload
• Personnel administration
• Coordination of office organization (infrastructure, work aids, needs)
• IT coordination in the team (technical IT support is ensured by UZH)

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in financial accounting and controlling, ideally in a non-profit organization
• Experience in personnel administration is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to OR, knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Analytical thinking and a good feeling for figures and financial relationships
• High IT affinity, confident handling of Microsoft 365 and Teams as well as AI-supported applications
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Communicative personality with enjoyment of collaborating in a small team
• Identification with the values of a non-profit organization and a sense of pragmatic solutions
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills are an advantage
