Head of Finance and Controlling

Lead the financial and controlling activities of the Stanserhorn-Bahn AG.

You actively shape the development of a successful company in the tourism industry – together with a motivated and enthusiastic team! The Stanserhorn-Bahn is a successful mountain railway. The past year was the best in its history, with over 215,000 guests and revenues of around CHF 10 million. The nostalgic funicular from 1893 and the unique Cabrio cable car are just as much a part of it as the summit's rotating restaurant with excellent cuisine and an attractive shop. The core of the experience is the seasonal approximately 150 employees who offer guests a unique mountain excursion experience daily with great commitment and charm.

In their assignment, we are looking for you starting from June 1, 2026, or by arrangement as:
Head of Finance (80 – 100 %)
You are responsible for the entire finance and accounting area including controlling/reporting and independently prepare the annual financial statement according to OR. Thanks to your budgeting and forward-looking financial and investment planning, the liquidity and profitability of the company are ensured in the long term. Taxation, including VAT accounting and the stock book, also fall within your area of responsibility. Furthermore, you will develop the KPI area further, constantly liaising with the managing director, whom you support as a competent and forward-looking sparring partner.
For this varied and responsible task, we are looking for you as a proactive and analytical personality with advanced education in finance and accounting as well as work experience in tourism, ideally in the mountain railway and/or gastronomy industry. Thanks to your digital affinity, you will develop IT and digitization further. Final accounting experience (OR) is a prerequisite. As a management and trusted person, you convince with your friendly and professional demeanor. We expect you to have high communication skills and enthusiasm for tourism.
