Tax Commissioner in Corporate Tax Law

Welcome to the fascinating world of taxation! The cantonal tax office, together with municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and municipalities. We support individuals and companies throughout the tax collection process. For this, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

In the area of corporate tax, compliance with the law is ensured, focusing on corporate tax law. For our construction department, we are looking for the right reinforcement as soon as possible.

Your future tasks:

• Review of tax returns and annual accounts of legal entities and self-employed individuals (profit and capital taxes as well as income and wealth taxes and reimbursement of withholding tax)
• Conduct assessments following clarification of the relevant facts
• Assessment of binding official rulings and responsibility in appeal procedures (particularly notices of objection and first-instance procedures before the tax appeal court)
• Written, telephonic, and personal communication with our clients or their representatives

Your profile:

• Completed business or legal studies or a comparable higher commercial training (certified tax expert, certified public accountant, FA trustee, or equivalent qualification)
• Professional appearance and fluent German in spoken and written; good knowledge of English is a plus
• Experience in tax law in tax consulting, fiduciary services, or public administration an advantage
• Resilience, high service orientation, and the ability for analytical, goal-oriented, and networked thinking
