Department Head of Finance and Member of the Executive Board

Start as soon as possible or by agreement. The role involves managing the finance department with a focus on: organizing the accounting of the residents' and municipal communities (including controlling and reporting), creating budgets, finance and task plans, managing cash flow, ensuring payroll processes, advising the municipal council on financial matters, and overseeing the insurance portfolio in collaboration with a broker. As a member of the executive board, you significantly contribute to steering the operational affairs of Wettingen.

Requirements

• Higher education in finance (CAS in Public Community Finance, significant professional experience in public finance or equivalency).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in public finance.
• Strong knowledge of administrative and municipal financial law.
• Decisive leadership presence with a sense of political processes.
• Strong communication skills and an open, engaging personality.
