The municipality of Bauma, with around 5,200 inhabitants, is located in a scenic and tourist-attractive region in the Upper Tösstal and is the center of the upper Tösstal. For the finance department of our unified municipality, we are looking for an initiative, professionally competent, and convincing person to start on October 1, 2026, or by arrangement, as
Deputy Head of Finance (80 - 100%)

Your main tasks:

• Management of the general ledger
• Management of client accounting
• Responsibility for the management of subsidiary ledgers (payroll)
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Contribution to the budget and annual closing of the municipality of Bauma and for clients
• Support and point of contact for internal and external customers
• Representation of the department management
• Support of financial processing
• Support of fee invoicing
• Support of HR administration

Your profile:

• Commercial education EFZ or equivalent
• Further training in the field to a clerk in accounting or already in training to become a specialist in finance and accounting with federal FA or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in a public financial administration or private financial department
• Very good IT application knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel and accounting programs, ideally Abraxas FIS
• Independent, efficient, and precise working style
• Strong flair for numbers and enjoyment of the task as well as contact with people
