Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Finance Analyst to join our client's EMEA team. In this key role, you will act as the finance business partner to the Sales and Business Units, supporting commercial activities, ensuring financial compliance, and driving the region’s financial planning and analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the preparation and execution of long-term planning, annual budgets, outlooks, and forecasts for the EMEA region.
• Monthly Reporting: Manage monthly closing processes, including sales and margin reviews, pricing analysis, and tracking of rebates and sales adjustments.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to analyze performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to optimize profitability.
• Process Improvement: Drive efficiency in financial systems and processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a key stakeholder in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, validating volumes, prices, and monitoring inventory and customer payment behavior.
• Risk & Opportunity Management: Lead the monthly risks and opportunities process, working with Sales teams to mitigate risks and capture growth opportunities.
• Financial Systems: Utilize advanced Excel and SAP BW for reporting, analysis, and process automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP BW; knowledge of IFRS is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Languages: Fluency in English (German or French is a plus).
