Your responsibilities

Financial Closing & Accounting Support: Actively support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring precise and compliant accounting and transforming numbers into meaningful insights. Analyze deviations accurately to provide valuable recommendations. Also, provide backup for the accounting lead when necessary.
Controlling & Performance Management: Be a driving force in the budget and forecasting process: create relevant analyses, examine plan/actual deviations, and translate complex data into clear, understandable reports. Your involvement in profitability calculations and business cases strengthens the decision-making basis on strategically important topics.
Business Partnering: Advise leaders of selected areas with financial expertise, navigate them through costs, margins, and investment decisions, and identify optimization potential before anyone else sees it. With your understanding of the business, you think ahead, act proactively, and contribute to the further development of the business areas.
Business Intelligence & Systems: Drive the BI landscape: enhance data quality, develop dashboards further, and ensure reporting is clear, modern, and effective. Simultaneously, shape ERP and finance projects and significantly advance digitalization in the finance area.

Your competencies

Education and Work Experience: Bring a business administration degree (FH/University) with a focus on finance or controlling or comparable education. Thanks to several years of experience in controlling or accounting, you navigate safely in financial environments, even in complex situations.
Knowledge: Solid knowledge in closing processes, ideally according to Swiss GAAP FER. Your pronounced IT affinity is evident in your competent use of Excel and your experience with ERP and BI systems (Qlik Sense is an advantage).
Work Style and Personal Attributes: Think analytically, act structured, and work solution-oriented. Combine numeracy with pragmatism and efficiency. At the same time, you are communicative, team-oriented, and capable of communicating complex issues understandably and convincingly.
Language Skills: Communicate confidently in German and English; knowledge of Swiss German is a plus.
