MISSION OF THE FUNCTION

Assist and support Finance Management in all financial matters including Financial Planning, monitoring and analysis. Act as a business partner across the DMTR business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

   • Monthly close activities:
     • Preparation of accruals file and sending instructions to sales
     • Review and consolidate backup of accruals
     • Prepare Journal entries to be sent to Accounting Shared service center
     • Variance analysis of actual costs versus budget and forecast.
   • Weekly reporting with Market team to anticipate risks/opportunities.
   • Financial Analysis: analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

2. Financial Planning

   • Support financial outlook process and data inputs to Financial Planning tool.
   • Budget preparation with Markets, Marketing & Supply Chain teams.
   • Support financial data requirements for S&OP.
   • Prepare for leadership reviews.

3. Other

   • Monthly reporting and forecasting for DT EMEA E-commerce.
   • Promote usage & adoption of Business Intelligence tools.
   • Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by the Business Controller.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Language: English required; French an asset.
• Excellent Excel skills mandatory.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Travel requirements: occasional.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Finance/Accounting university graduate.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Experience in audit is an advantage.
