Job Description

Location: Bern, Switzerland (and remote work) | 80-100%

Key Contributions:

• Assume technical, organizational, and personnel leadership of the Controlling division.
• Responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and financial management of the Federal Office of Construction and Logistics (UFCL).
• Prepare messages regarding budget and account statements.
• Develop and optimize accounting and controlling tools.
• Direct and coordinate IT controlling (as the IT controlling officer).
• Lead projects aimed at optimizing and digitizing controlling processes.

Your Distinguishing Features:

• Tertiary education in finance or business administration.
• Profound years of professional experience.
• Goal-oriented and result-driven.
• Interest in developing complex issues in a solution-oriented and audience-appropriate manner.
• In-depth knowledge of planning and management tools; knowledge of federal administration is a preferential qualification.
• Broad general knowledge and experience in public procurement.
• Good knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of a third.

In Summary: Relating data, strategy, and leadership to create a basis for effective decision-making and forward-looking management of UFCL.
