Job Description

For our client, a successful international industrial company based in Baar, we are looking for a Group Project Controller with entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to shape. In this newly created position, you will support the Chief Growth Officer in close collaboration with various stakeholders and in coordination with the CFO in the financial management of strategic growth initiatives and internal projects – from creating solid business cases to success control during implementation. As a sparring partner to management, you will create transparency, challenge existing processes, and provide well-founded, data-driven decision-making bases.

Responsibilities

• Creation and assessment of business cases for strategic initiatives and growth projects including financial scenarios, CAPEX, OPEX, and expected returns.
• Consolidation and analysis of financial, operational, and market-related data as well as creation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Comprehensive controlling of strategic projects and investments regarding costs, resources, commitments, milestones, and achievement of objectives.
• Early identification of deviations, risks, and opportunities as well as development and tracking of appropriate corrective measures.
• Monitoring the implementation of approved investments and ensuring the realization of planned financial and operational values.
• Creation of meaningful reports, KPI evaluations, and management presentations as well as development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Analysis, or Projects.
• Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial evaluation, as well as the ability to link financial data, operational developments, and strategic objectives.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with high independence and convincing stakeholder management.
• Very good ERP and Excel skills, ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.
• Very good German and English skills.
