Your tasks

• Manage strategic budgets for the IT Directorate (DIT) at the University.
• Oversee operational budget management of the DIT.
• Ensure financial controlling and budget planning.
• Manage the administrative lifecycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to disposal).
• Define software asset management processes to ensure control.
• Identify synergies within the software portfolio, support standardization, and implement optimization measures.
• Ensure the quality of the inventory of workstations (PC, Mac & Linux) in collaboration with the Service Desk team.
• Measure and continually improve processes and procedures within the area of responsibility.

Desired profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent training.
• Experience in financial management and purchasing (public markets), ideally in an IT context.
• Experience in software asset management.
• Value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organization.
• Capable of negotiating with internal stakeholders and suppliers while considering their constraints.
• Strong service orientation, result-oriented, and knowledgeable in continuous improvement principles as well as project management.
• Proficient in French or German with good knowledge of the other language; good command of written and oral English.
