ACCOUNTANT WITH RESPONSIBILITY AND TEAM LEADERSHIP (m/f)

For the headquarters in ZURICH-CITY (near the main train station), I am tasked with the search for a versatile and experienced personality with drive and enthusiasm (make your job a passion . . .).

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for business accounting (mainly general financial accounting, accounts payable/receivable and partly controlling)
• Management and development of an additional specialist as well as development and implementation of process improvement proposals
• Preparation and coordination of monthly and annual financial statements (including reconciliation with the auditing body), budgets, various forecasts, performance metrics, and statistics as well as general financial/liquidity planning
• Actively participate and shape areas of insurance, fleet management, ICT planning/interface, personnel administration, inventory, payroll, and other operational tasks in daily business, continuously manage and maintain data in various systems
• Interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the company and close exchange with management/owners, central contact for all specific topics regarding internal as well as external contacts, institutions, customers, suppliers, etc.

Your profile:

• Commercial basic education with further training in accounting, bookkeeping, financial controlling, or comparable knowledge
• Several years of professional experience in the field of accounting in a similar environment (industry, trade, retail, or commercial)
• Many years of proven experience as an accountant with pragmatic and operational implementation skills, security in achieving financial closing (OR, Swiss GAAP) and entrepreneurial diversity, and possibly management experience
• Pronounced desire for a generalist activity with great competencies and corresponding responsibility, good German skills, English/French as an advantage, confident handling of MS Office and ERP tools
• Full-time (100%) preferred, resident in the Zurich metropolitan area, age from 30, no remote work planned, immediate start desired
