The Halag Chemie AG, UFAG Laboratorien AG, ufamed AG, and SwissVets AG form the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Food Safety within the fenaco Group and make an important contribution to food safety in Switzerland—from hygiene to analytics to animal health.

For the SBU Food Safety, we are looking for a professionally experienced, dynamic, and networked individual in the area of Finance & Accounting at the Sursee location.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the financial day-to-day business of individual companies
• Responsibility for accurate and timely financial, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting including dunning and collection
• Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and SWISS GAAP FER including reporting
• Responsibility for VAT settlements and tax returns
• Implementation and further development of controlling
• Preparation of key figures, analyses, and business evaluations
• Active participation in budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning processes
• Professional responsibility for the financial integration of new companies
• Project management or sub-project management in digitization and optimization projects in finance
• Contact person for internal and external stakeholders

Profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting, auditing or business studies (FH/Uni)
• Several years of professional experience in the auditing environment or finance and accounting
• Interest and experience in controlling and business analysis
• In-depth knowledge in financial statement preparation according to SWISS GAAP FER and obligation law
• Proficient handling of ERP systems and very good Excel skills
• Accurate, independent, and reliable way of working
• Team-oriented and committed personality with a pronounced sense of responsibility
• High service orientation as well as secure appearance towards various stakeholders
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland
