Global Wealth Management - Operations Analyst (German Speaking)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

(On-site only – no remote work/home office) Contract Duration: 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Analyst with German language skills to support investment banking operations. As part of our consulting firm, you will be deployed on-site to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth operational processes across securities and investment banking functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of securities and investment banking operations, including settlements, trade support, and client order handling.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions across global markets.
  • Liaise with custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to monitor and resolve exceptions, breaks, and settlement discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and align data inputs with settlement instructions.
  • Respond to client and stakeholder queries related to transactions, asset movements, or operational issues.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the operations team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in banking, preferably in investment banking operations, middle office, or back office roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle, and securities operations.
  • German language proficiency (minimum B2 level required) – both spoken and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
