Head of Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance department professionally and organizationally.
• Be responsible for the financial accounting of the residents and corporate community.
• Prepare budget, annual financial statements, and financial planning; manage tax collections.
• Provide clear decision-making bases for the municipal council and administration.
• Manage the insurance portfolio and IT.
• Support and train apprentices and assist in phone and counter service as needed.

Competencies

• Bring professional experience in the municipal finance sector.
• Ideally hold the CAS Public Community Level II with expertise as financial experts Aargau or comparable education.
• Work independently, reliably, and responsibly.
• Maintain an overview despite diverse topics and changing priorities.
• Communicate clearly, engage reliably, and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
• Appreciate pragmatic solutions and a collegial environment with short decision-making paths.
