Senior Auditor
Your heart beats for the audit of banks? You have several years of in-depth experience in auditing core processes in retail banking? You consider yourself a team player? Then we have an interesting position for you in the Internal Audit of BEKB! As a Senior Auditor focusing on financing and finance, you support the successful development of BEKB with solution-oriented audit results.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the audit of the processes related to financing (credit business) that are significant for BEKB.
- This also includes auditing further processes such as the bank's risk provision in finance and themes like ALM and risk management.
- Ideally, you will also be responsible for the audit work of the Internal Audit on finance processes, i.e., examining the annual financial statements of BEKB and aity AG (financial audit). In these auditing tasks, you coordinate the collaboration of the entire Internal Audit team.
- You will planned risk-oriented audits in the multi-year cycle.
- You will audit operationally and actively use the bank's systems and the analysis tools of Internal Audit as a user. In the team Financing/Finance, you will work with four people conducting operational audits at BEKB.
- You consolidate the audit results into a convincing overall assessment, and you communicate the audit reports confidently at all levels from the audited parties to the management.
- You foster collaboration in Internal Audit. We utilize the strengths of all teams and inspire each other across teams in our auditing activities for the benefit of BEKB and aity.
Requirements
- You have several years of professional experience as a Senior Auditor in the banking environment, ideally with experience in financing, finance, and risk management.
- You possess pronounced methodological competence and can structure audit areas risk-oriented, as well as introduce suitable standards and practices for the preparation of audit programs.
- You are an entrepreneurial thinker who enjoys conducting operational audits with initiative, networking, and solution-oriented action.
- You have team leadership skills and are a team-oriented, communicative, and committed personality.
- You have a degree at the university or university of applied sciences level and suitable further qualifications (e.g. certified public accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or equivalent).
