Financial Manager

Your Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for operational accounting (mainly general financial accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and some controlling).
• Lead and develop a junior staff member and work on process improvement proposals.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual financial statements (including reconciliation with the audit firm), budget, various forecasts, performance metrics, and overall financial/liquidity planning.
• Actively contribute to insurance management, fleet management, ICT planning/interface, HR administration, inventory, payroll, and other operational activities in daily business, ongoing maintenance and management of data in various systems.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally within the company and maintain close contact with management/owners, becoming a central contact for all specific topics regarding internal and external stakeholders, institutions, clients, suppliers, etc.

Your Profile:

• Commercial training with further education in accounting, financial controlling or comparable knowledge.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting within a similar environment (industry, trade, retail, or services).
• Proven experience as an accountant with pragmatic and operational skills, security in completing accounts (OR, Swiss Gaap), entrepreneurial versatility, and possibly leadership experience.
• Strong desire for a versatile role with significant responsibilities, good German skills, English/French is an advantage, and proficiency in MS-Office and ERP tools.
• Preferred full-time workload, residing in the greater Zurich area, age from 30, no remote work planned, immediate availability preferred.
