Financial Specialist / Deputy CFO (m/f/d)

For our client – a successful, established, and independent organization based in the Zurich area – we are looking for a convincing and committed personality in an exclusive mandate. In this newly created key position, you take on a central role in financial accounting and act as an important sparring partner for the CFO. You contribute directly to the quality of the accounts, to the development of processes, and to informed financial decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsibility for operational financial accounting, including subsidiary ledgers
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensuring correct and legally compliant accounting (OR, Swiss GAAP FER)
• Preparation of regulatory and financial reports
• Ensuring high quality of financial close and compliance with deadlines
• Supporting the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Analyze, optimize, and develop financial processes and system landscapes
• Participation in digitization and automation projects in finance

Your Profile

• Further education in finance and accounting (e.g., federal specialist diploma) or a business degree with a focus on finance
• Several years of professional experience in accounting with responsibility for financial statements
• Good knowledge of OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
• Structured, analytical, and precise way of working
• High level of personal responsibility, reliability, and integrity
• Motivated, pragmatic personality with a passion for change and development
