Job Description

For our customer, an internationally active industrial company in the Luzern area, we are looking for an experienced leader with proven expertise in consolidated financial reporting and taxation. In this responsible key position, you take over the management of central finance and tax functions and actively shape the further development of the finance organization as well as its processes and systems.

Your Tasks

• Manage the areas of Group Accounting, Accounting Switzerland, and Group Tax while continuously developing your team.
• Responsible for IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Optimize the finance system landscape and processes, leading the Product Owner Finance, especially in the SAP FI/CO area.
• Coordinate group financial statement audits and local annual financial statement audits.
• Oversee the group-wide tax strategy, tax governance, tax compliance, and tax risk management.
• Support acquisitions, restructurings, and international projects in tax matters and coordinate tax audits.

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, ideally supplemented by a qualification as a certified accountant.
• Several years of experience in leading group accounting and tax in an internationally active industrial company.
• Profound IFRS knowledge, experience with complex consolidated financial statements, and expertise in international tax law.
• Experience with internal control systems, audits, regulatory requirements, and finance processes.
• Knowledge of ERP, consolidation, and reporting systems; SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills as well as confident stakeholder management at management and board levels.
