Missions
Within the Management division, and the Information Systems department, the SAP Finance and Controlling Application Specialist's main mission is to develop and maintain the company's ERP and related systems in the Finance and Controlling areas, based on business and technical requirements, and ensure its implementation. This role also contributes to the execution of technologically complex projects and/or those impacting end users.

Responsibilities
Development

  • Analyze the functional needs of the business and define the technical characteristics of deliverables.
  • Define system requirements derived from functional and non-functional requirements (availability, security, performance).
  • Develop technical solutions and propose configurations or functionalities to implement, evaluate them, and suggest choices adapted to needs.
  • Configure, test, and implement the SAP environment ensuring the proper execution of financial and controlling processes for the fields (FI, CO, VIM modules).
  • Conduct testing phases and implementations of solutions.
  • Advise and collaborate on projects.

Support

  • Monitor the proper functioning of the ERP in its functional area.
  • Provide technical assistance to users.
  • Analyze and resolve ERP defects in its functional area.
  • Manage change requests in its functional area.
  • Create and update documentation (templates, interface specifications, test procedures, user manuals, etc.).

Management

  • Participate in project phases relating to the development and maintenance of the company's ERP, ensuring functional analysis, development, implementation, and technical documentation, adhering to the norms and standards in effect at PPSA.

Security, Compliance, and Audit:

  • Contribute to the management of platform security - access, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with internal and external security and confidentiality standards (GDPR, ...).
  • Ensure the maintenance of documents and information related to the objectives of the company's Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
  • Participate in internal and external audits to assure compliance with security and governance standards.
  • Control the proper use of licenses.

Profile sought

  • Higher education degree in IT, Information Systems, or IT Project Management. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in an SAP environment, ideally including a project management dimension.
  • Excellent understanding of financial flows and controlling in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in S4 and FIORI environments.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP modules: FI, CO, VIM and their integration with SD, PP, CS, MM modules.
  • Experience in integration with Middleware (BOOMI appreciated) and interface monitoring.
  • Knowledge of using ServiceNow appreciated (incident/change/case management).
  • Mastery of ITIL methodologies - applying best practices in change, incident, and problem management.
  • Experience in supporting or implementing electronic billing (ideally in Europe) and/or knowledge of regulatory requirements for VAT declarations/reporting would be a plus.
  • Fluent English (B2 level minimum).
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a structured approach.
  • Ability to work and communicate across technical and functional teams and all stakeholders.
  • Be proactive in suggesting improvements.
  • Autonomy and versatility.
  • Ability to monitor and adapt to emerging technological developments.
