Our Actuarial team provides a full range of actuarial support in the areas of life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance as well as pension funds. We are collaborating regularly with other teams in Audit & Assurance as well as with other lines of services, like Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory or Technology & Transformation, on large-scale projects.
In this position, you will be integrated into an experienced project team right from the start and will have day-to-day responsibilities to deliver reliable solutions.
How you can make an impact
- Acting as the main point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland
- Directly leading a variety of client projects, such as M&A transactions, audits for pension funds or valuations;
- Managing the lifecycle of projects from proposals, contracting, delivery to invoicing.
- Business development: identification of business ideas and opportunities, generation of new business with internal and external clients.
- Participating and leading thought leadership;
- All aspects of the employee lifecycle from finding, acquiring and training new talent to performance reviews and promotions;
Who we are looking for
- You have a University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics or similar quantitative field
- You are qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent
- You have experience in an actuarial position either in the Insurance industry or in Consulting
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills with a real willingness to learn and make a difference, and you enjoy working with different people from different fields
- You communicate confidently in German and in English with different levels of stakeholders
- You demonstrate proven business development experience.
