Tax Commissioner in Corporate Tax Law

Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. About 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zurich Altstetten.

In the corporate area, compliance assessment is carried out with a focus on corporate tax law. We are looking for the right reinforcement for our service department as soon as possible.

Your future tasks:

• Check tax returns and annual financial statements of legal entities and self-employed individuals (profit and capital taxes as well as income and wealth taxes, including the refund of withholding tax)
• Conduct assessments after clarifying the relevant facts
• Evaluate binding official advance rulings (rulings) and take responsibility in legal proceedings (especially appeal proceedings and first-instance proceedings before the tax appeal court)
• Written, telephone, and personal communication with our clients or their representatives

Your profile:

• Completed business or legal studies or an equivalent higher commercial training (dipl. tax expert, dipl. business examiner, FA trustee or equivalent training)
• Professional appearance and confident German language skills, both written and spoken; good English skills are a plus
• Experience in tax law, in tax consulting, fiduciary services, or administration is an advantage
• Resilience, high service orientation, and the ability to think analytically, goal-oriented, and networked
